Explore What Faith In Action Offers to the Community
Faith in Action is dedicated to serving the needs of low-income individuals, families, veterans, justice-impacted individuals, and the unhoused. Our commitment is to empower individuals and families by helping provide free essential resources for healthcare, education, housing, and workforce development through direct services, referrals, and fostering strong community partnerships.
Fresh Success Program
The Fresh Success Program helps CalFresh (SNAP) recipients gain job skills, find employment, and increase financial stability while improving access to healthy food. Participants receive employment support, job readiness training, resume assistance, and connections to local employers. The program is designed to help individuals move toward self-sufficiency while maintaining access to nutritious food for themselves and their families.
Health Equity Through Enhanced Care Management (ECM)
Faith in Action provides Enhanced Care Management (ECM) services through Molina Healthcare to support individuals and families with complex health and social needs. ECM is a Medi-Cal benefit that provides intensive care coordination and community-based support for people who are experiencing homelessness, chronic health conditions, behavioral health challenges, or other barriers to stability.
Our ECM program focuses on health equity, ensuring that individuals who face the greatest barriers to healthcare and stability receive personalized support, advocacy, and connections to services. We work directly in the community — not just in an office — meeting clients where they live, stay, or receive services.
Navigation Services
Faith In Action offers no cost applications for California IDs for those who are unhoused. We also assist with accessing basic identification documents, social service programs, and housing resources through walk-ins or appointments.

Medi-Cal Outreach & Enrollment
Our Medi-Cal Outreach Program helps community members apply for, renew, and understand their Medi-Cal health coverage. Many individuals lose coverage due to paperwork issues, renewals, or changes in income — our team helps prevent coverage gaps and ensures individuals and families stay connected to healthcare services.
Partnerships for Community Change
Faith In Action collaborates with various organizations such as Riverside County Housing & Workforce Solutions, The Salvation Army, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and local churches to create integrated service networks and ensure long-term community impact.
Life Skills Workshops
Faith In Action offers 6-week programs designed to give the local unhoused population essential knowledge and skills for self-sufficiency through a FIA-developed curriculum and guest presenters.
Street Outreach & Mobile Outreach Van
Faith in Action operates a Mobile Outreach Van that brings services directly to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, living in rural areas, or facing barriers to transportation and healthcare access. Instead of expecting people to come to an office, our team goes into the community to meet people where they are — on the streets, in encampments, in motels, in parking lots, at food distributions, and in underserved neighborhoods.
Our mobile outreach program focuses on building trust, providing immediate assistance, and connecting individuals to long-term services that improve health, housing stability, and overall well-being.
Criminal Defense Services
Once a month Faith In Action hosts lawyers from the Riverside Public Defender’s office. Services include:
